Wiring question

How are the wires to the roof dome lite routed on 1972. Orange/white. Ran hand under carpet drivers side and nothing, cause connector comes from fusebox area. Does it go up pillar. Mine fried. Zzzzzzt!

I swear mine runs under the door sill plate on the driver's side...... Maybe I need to verify that.

Yep, in the groove under the door sill plate, up the rear corner cavity (small bendable clip inside to hold wire) then on up (the easy part ) to the mounting boss.
