just thought i'd throw my truck in the equation. I paid 2200 dollars for it almost 1 year ago, was stock when I got it. Have since added a lift and tires and a custom rear bumper (want to go back to stock). The 700r4 was toast when I bought the truck, I rebuilt it myself (19 years old) that was fun but it has been going strong for about 10k miles so far.

Not trying to be a Hot Head or anything, but I'd like to nominate myself for all of the hard work that I've gone through so far with alot of work ahead! Plus being a high school student makes all of my work that much more impressive, or so I think...

I appreciate it man. When you do it a little at a time with spray cans and a wire wheel on a drill, it won't break the bank as easily. Well it also helps to start out with a rust-free Cali truck.

Hell yea man. My frame is covered in grease which prob saved it minus the usual surface rust. And I'm sorta in high school too, check the name :p. But once I can really get to work on it, its all gonna be workin up from there. Atleast what I can do and learn by myself. But it's all good.
