2 '56 longbeds for sale in CA
I'm placing this ad for a friend who is wanting to sell two '56 Chevy longbed pickups, both in need of restoration. One has a big rear window, while the other has small rear window. Common problems they have are rusted out corners, rusty floorboards, and rusty steps/rockerpanels. The glass is either cracked or broken in both cabs. My friend wants to get them out of his yard, so make us an offer for one or both. If you have any questions or would like pictures, let me know.

Dave,
I'm sorry, I was going to repond the other night but I totally forgot. I have pictures of them, so when I get them ready to email I'll let you know (gotta shrink them, etc.) They are of course longbeds that are in need of real help. Think sitting out in a field for 30 yrs. The metal is in pretty good condition, but if I were to restore them, I would be putting in a new bed (I'd get an aftermarket shortbed and convert the truck to a shortbed), new frame (shortbed style), new windows, pretty much new everything. Give me until Sunday (should be shorter, but I want to make sure I have plenty of time) and I should have the pictures ready to email to you. The trucks are located in Mt. shasta, CA, about 4 hours north of San Francisco. The guy wants $1000 each for them, which is way too much imo, and I told him that. So make an offer, as he wants them gone. Again, I will get pictures and you can see what's there (they are complete, but need a lot of help). Thanks, Kevin

I went by my friend's house the other day and I didn't see the trucks there, I'm guessing he sold them already. I'll ask to make sure.
