Blazer of the month for August
I'm the contestant...
I bought my 72 Blazer 7 years ago. For the first two years, it was in the shop every two weeks. Between the front & rear end and various other pesky problems, I was close to selling her. Finally it turned the corner. Virtually everything has been replaced in the last 5 years. Engine, tranny, differential, braking system... It still has it's headaches (power and paint...leaks sometimes ) but here's a list of her good points... 383 stroker with an RV Cam 700r automatic tranny Doug Thorley headers Quadrajet Optima "red' battery Brake vaccuum & system from a Caddilac High amper altenator Warn hubs 33" Goodrich all terrian tires 15 Eagle Alloy rims Bestop TrailMax seats Rancho shocks Tuffy center locking console Linex interior from tail to firewall 6 point powder coated custom roll cage JVC CD/Mp3 player--600 watt Kenwood amp--600 watt Fosgate amp 2 10" Fosgate woofers--2 3 way 6x9" Kenwood speakers Also we added 3 point belts so the steering wheel doesn't keep mocking me. ---------- This is before the emblems were added Interior shot. Here's the rear shot... BEFORE SHOT!!! That thing was hideous. Pink and Blue? It didn't know whether it was a girl or boy. |
