New Hill 4x4 front shackles
Got my front shackles installed with ord's greasable bushings, im moving on to the rears, I'll get some pics up when I'm done.

sway bars are pointless on a 4x4, unless stock, lifted I wouldn't even bother. I took mine off when I had 4" lift and it made no difference other than allowing me some more flex in the front.

what advantages do those shackles offer over stock? are they longer? looks to me like more of a hinderance than anything. they're tied together which takes away flex, and that shackle angle is most definitely going to give you a rough ride.

Advantages? They're longer and stronger. Have you seen OEM's ? I'm trying to build a super dependable trail rig so any potential problems that I address now is important to me. I don't like to be ''that guy'' broke down, especially if preventive actions could have changed the outcome. I've personally seen stock Chevy shackles fail. Yes there may be a slight compromise in flex, but the fact that all is greasable will aid flex. The "shackle angle'' is more or less same as the stock shackles. The pinion angle is more affected, but that is addressed with shims.

I went with these 2 years ago on my '86. They are stronger and more dependable..
I beat the piss out of my blazer.. just check "the add your 4x4 " post..
