The ol truck has some NARDS!!!
I have approximately 3-400 miles on my rebuilt 350 so I figured it was time to see what kind of balls she has. Shawna and I were out for a cruise on Monday night and decided to put the pedal down. We were going around the city on the perimeter highway which is a 70 kph (43mph) when i tromped on it and did she ever GO!! Within a few hundred feet it was up over 110 kph and wanted to keep going , but I ran out of straight road I am so pleased with the way it has all turned out. It's WAY different than cruising with my worn out inline. I'm glad I made the switch to a small block. I gotta get some burnout pics now

Sounds good. But since your 3 days of summer are gone, how are you going to do burnouts in the snow?

I'll have to melt a spot on the highway with a tiger torch and do the burnout while the pavement is hot

Congrats Tim and Shawna, I know that break-in period is a hard time to go through, always wanting to stomp it, and always worrying if everything was done right. Now it's time to stomp the hell out of it. You want to set your piston travel to the max length and streach out those rods. (incert Tim Allen grunting) |
