Finally looks like a Blazer!
Made a bit more progress Monday. Got it wired up and drove it around the yard, then I figured out that I had no brakes, hehe. Didn't run into or over anything, just rolled to a stop. Still have a ton of stuff to do. But its all worth the work when it starts coming together. I guess the next step is to get all the lines perfectly straight, shouldn't be too awful hard, the lines are close as they sit. Then weld up the rocker boxes, floor pans, and a bit of hole filling. The pics are a bit dark, it was pretty late when we quit. Thanks for the help Jamie!
This is what it looked like when I started Monday morning. This is what it looked like that evening. |

Yep its the same tub. I've been trying to work on it a full day a week. Its kinda gettin' expensive being that its about 45 minutes away and ol'Dodge only gets 14mpg. After I get a few more things done with my uncles help I'll be able to bring it home to finish the body work. Through the week I'll write down the things I'd like to get done the next time I work on it. That seems to help alot.

Luv, getting jealous, you got nothin' to be jealous of. Actually I think I speak for everyone when I say, we're all jealous of yours, haha.
MMGOODIE, Thanks for brightening up the pics. Got the tailgate on, the hatch, the brakes kinda work, and a couple other things yesterday. Still got a sputter in the engine though. My engine guy says we just need to pull the distributor and move it up a tooth or so. No biggie. Little by little. Thanks for the compliments. |

Honestly what I'd really like is black on black with one of those killer flame jobs that looks like real flames. But who can afford that for a daily driver. A person would have to shed a tear for every rock chip or bug that splattered against the hood.

Don't worrly LUV, I'm gonna do go to have it painted, haha. The only way I'd do black is for those flames. Can't afford the flames so no black, haha. Your rig needs those flames, everything on it is perfect so ya got to finish it right. That link is awesome, everyone should click on it to see some of those flames.
