when i first try to start the truck all i get is a ticking noice. The starter is fine i know that. but i was thinking it was the battery so i am thinking of getting rid of that. then i thought of a new altenator also. what one is it? that alt or the battery? i am planing on getting both new anyways. i wanna egt that right away that problem. this is my daily driver.
if i got an alt. i would get a 140. Is that like to high? What would be a good size?
as for the battery i was going to get the blue top optoma battery or whatever it is called and all.
jsut wanted to knwo

mine clicks, and the starter is bad. Maybe you do need a new one?

ok i got a new starter and me and a friend got it in. right? then we go and try to start it. well it was not the starter then we go later and the battery is totaly dead. so now i am getting a new battery who knows what kind. i wanna get the yellow top optima but $$$ is a lil tight and a new altenator.
but then i thought jsut charge the abttery and get a new altenator and then the battery later.
i think that i should just need to get a new both then i can get new battery cabels and ground wires to and then the altenater as well.
