Hypertech chip for 89 350 w/auto. comes with all instructions and used 160 degree stat. $25 bucks includes shipping to lower 48.

Changes ignition timing and A/F ratio for more power (hypertech claims 10-20hp). Changes automatic shift firmness and TC lockup, etc.

Can you use the stage 2 chip with a stock motor or does it have to be modified?

The only modification required, is the installation of a 160 degree thermostat.
There are actually 2 chips for sale. Both are for TBI 350/auto PN 128082 PN 129112 The chips aren't mine.
