Question for people with drop spindles.
Ok, the guy who had my truck before me says he dropped it with coils and spindles. I took a look under the front end at the spindles and there are gm markings on them. The suspension was built like 10 years ago or so and im looking to hit 5-7 or 5-8 soon. Im really not sure if there is spindles on there or not. Can anybody help me out on this matter?
The spindles are mounted pretty high on there, so they COULD be drop spindles. I dunno. I was going to take the springs out and chop a coil or so and flip the rear with a hanger to get 5-7. New shocks are going on in the rear too.

If they have a GM logo and casting code they aren't dropped spindles....

If you wanna see what a drop spindle looks like, just look at mine Mine are DJM, and they're MARKED with the DJM logo. I don't think GM ever made a drop spindle.
BTW: Do the Flip Kit + Shackle |

DANGIT! Looks like I need a pair of spindles now too! This guy was full of crap when he told me what he did to the truck. Its a nice truck and all, but man, I was too excited to really take a hard look at the suspension. The rear has a large HD hanger from belltech and im sure the front is just springs.
2 1/2" Western chassis sindles and a flip kit here I come.

The best way to tell fore shure is to remove your tire and look at the disc if you can just see the lower ball joint then you have droped spindles if not look from the back side and if theres like 2"/3" 's of disc hangin' below the ball joint then there stock.
