Post What was the last year of the low back bucket in Chevy trucks?

I once had a '77 with the low back buckets in it. Now I may be looking for a set of these for my '70. Does anyone here know of the last year they were offered? I need to know this so I can keep an eye out in the paper for a truck for sale that may have them.

Thanks!
Reid

Well I have been looking in the local classified papers, and there are quite a few '75-'79 Chevy pickups for sale. A few say they are loaded, but the ads are pretty small, and don't list any options. I was just wondering what all years had them, and how rare were they?

I had a factory "Gentleman Jim" loaded up GMC longbed 1/2 ton back in '77 that had factory lowback buckets/console. I've only seen one other of those trucks. Wish i'd never sold it.......SC

The one I had was a '77 Chevy Silverado. It had blue interior with the buckets & consol. I too wish I had never sold it.
