running or not?
ive decided to sell the truck i would never sell. i think ive owned it close to 10 years...i dont really remember. my youngest son took it for a bit but decided it was too costly to drive. ok here is my question...im keeping the motor, i have close to three grand into it (the one in pic isnt it) how much more would i get for the truck if i put a runner 350 in it vs just selling it minus motor and just selling it as a roller? here is an old pic of it but its basically the same truck except now it has bfg 33 1250 15's...this isnt one of those "how much do you think this truck is worth?" questions, just how much more as driveable.

Even a stock painted up 350 can make a $500 into a $1500 truck.

I believe any engine will increase the value of the truck way more than just an engine alone would be worth.
Folks want to feel the trans shift and the brakes brake and all that before plunking down any real money. Without driving it, the prospective buyer is making a leap of faith on the truck, which makes people real uncomfortable if it's very much money involved.

well i if im going to put a runner in it i may as well paint the bed sides black...inside of bed is painted hammerite black with a bed liner over that and the gate is already black...i guess i should quit being lazy, it sounds like a couple of hundred bucks invested would bring back a much larger return.
