hi all,i have this truck i am working on,(1976 K-10) when i bought it i was told the engine was out of a 1999 escalade which i have checked out and that appears to be true.I have no knowledge of building engine's,just taking them out etc. MY question is, below is the casting number,it could be a 2 or 4 bolt main according to spec's,it has been changed over to eldelbrock performer intake etc. the carb is JUNK and i was thinking of going with a (1406,i think) eldelbrock carb,does that sound ok with that motor and cam,(which i know nothing about)..ALL i know is before i tore it apart (lol) it had alot of go,but no get up with junk carb.. thank you.
