column shift linkage
Has anyone installed straight rod linkage on their column shift like from
kugal or lokar? to eliminate braket from frame. I need to to clear custom exhaust system. 71 short bed 406 with turbo 350. any pictures would be big help. thanks. |

Several guys here have used the Lokar kit with great results. It's usually cheaper than trying to chase down all of the factory bits.

I have the lokar rod on mine. had to clear big headers.
If I were to do it again I heard lokar now has a cable style that connects nicer. I think this is it.

anybody know where to find that Lokar cable-driven piece? Jegs and Summit only seem to offer the rod edition....

Summit has it in stock and ready to ship today.
Part number is LOK-ACA-1804 You have to go to the manufacturers page and get the part number then see if Summit has it by checking for the part number specifically. They do have it in stock.
