Easy, Old Air Products in Ft Worth Texas makes a kit that replaces all three of the cheap pot metal stock levers with steel ones. It also includes a new faceplate to restore your whole cluster to like new. Last I checked it was 30 bucks for the whole kit. Pretty much any board vendor will have them.
I just looked and Ricks and GMC Pauls both have them listed on their websites.
