Route/Schedule/Parts Run
OK, here's the plan as it stands right now.
Leaving VT on the 15th (very early) Plan on being @ Burnsman's by 11:00 or 12:00 on wed. and load parts. Heading to Tenn. via I71 south onto I65 into Nashville. Wed. evening. Then heading west on I40 to Oklahoma (Cherokee) To pick up the first truck. Hopefully be there thurs. a.m. From Chereokee, it's on to Dallas FW area to pick up the second truck. Thurs. afternoon/evening. Thursday is going to be a lay over in Texas somewhere because our next stop was to be Pensacola Florida, so we need to wait for Ivan to clear out some. If we can even get in to Pensacola...? There, we're supposed to pick up a large enclosed aluminum trailer (if it survives the storm) and head north. So far the enclosed trailer is empty. Lots of room for the big stuff in there. Our trip north is not determined yet, could go back up through Tenn. to deliver more parts. Also, if anyone is willing to be a contact along our route ( ) send me a pm with your info. Just in case, ya never know... Thanks all, looking forward to meeting as many board members as possible. |
