F/S - '72 Custom-10 Short-Wide
I am gonna' try this again. I had this thing sold a few weeks ago to a board member. But, as things often do, a problem came up in his personal life and the deal seems to have been moved to the back burner. No harm no foul. Crap happens from time to time and I ain't gonna' cry about it. I'll just offer it to someone else. No hard feelings to my other buddy. Nice guy.
Anyway, I have a 1972 Custom-10 short bed fleet side truck for sale. Originally a V-8 truck with a column shift manual tranny. Both have been removed, but the rest is intact. Truck has 5-lug ralleys and disc brakes on the front. Previous owner installed airbags on the rear, but not the front. I do still have the coil springs that were removed if the buyer wants to go back to a stock setup. The front bumper and grill are bent. The only other part that is not is good shape is the bed floor. It has runsted out in several spots, but the sides are really good. I have a 250 inline 6-cylinder and a three speed saginaw that I will let go with it if you want it. I also have a replacement cross member, and the linkages for the shifter and clutch if you wanted to go back with a manual column shifted tranny. If anyone is interested, I will let her go for $300. Or I would trade it for a small block of some sort. Oh, in case you are wondering, I also have a good title that matches the door VIN plate. If you have any questions or need to see specific areas, just let me know. PUTTER

Does she still run, or does it need to be hauled away?

Hey Putter, I'm interested, What shape is the cab in? And also the door bottoms? Not trying to jump in front of anybody, but if those are in decsent shape, and it's still for sale, I'll take it. I guess it's not an air cab? What kind of small block are you looking for? I have plenty of parts and complete stock engines, but nothing in running condition. I also have a 67-68 black bucket seat setup that I would trade.

RingNeck, the truck itself has no motor or tranny mounted in it. BUT, the motor that I listed above (the 250) does run (needs intake gasket). I pulled it out of my '69 about two months ago to install another 250 that was painted up nice. The 250 and tranny are still bolted together and were pulled as one unit with everything (alternator, water pump, starter, etc...) still mounted, running. The reason it needs an intake gasket is I pulled the intake to try and troubleshoot an issue with my new motor, thus messing up the intake gasket. I will post as many pics as I have so everyone can see.
John, it is a steel bed that has several rusted out spots (see new pics below) Hugger, unfortunately it is not an A/C cab. It does have a tailgate.

Canada is not THAT far is it? Isn't Kelowna B.C. just north of Graceland (Memphis)? At one time, it was a sweet truck. I saw it before the P.O. pulled the engine and tranny to sell me the body. It would scoot and it was low! (Rear has bags)

Steve, as much fun as a BB sounds, I think that would be a bit much for for me. Sorry.
I have a pending deal with HuggerCST, but if something happens, I will let you all know. (I had a deal once before and it fell through!?!)

I have an uncle that drives a transport for GM, I will check and see if he ever goes your way. If he does I have a 350 and a TH350 I will trade for it. If he is going your way I can send the engine. This may take some time. Let me know what ya think!

Putter let me know if your deal with Hugger falls thru. Shipping would not be a problem. Pending approval of my boss of course!
