SM465 Shifter
Does anyone make a new Shifter for a SM465 Gearbox? Or are there any aftermarket ones? Mines kinda sloppy and I'm wondering how to remedy this situation. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I am also interested, my sm465 shifter is also sloppy.
But then again all sm465's that I have felt have been sloppy.

Mine was sloppy too and only has 49k original miles. Mine somehow locked in 2nd from the sloppiness. Anyway, mine tightened up after I replaced the roll pins where the stick meets the top of the case, with slightly longer ones. Then used a hose clamp around both, to keep pressure on them. Tightened mine right up and can't be seen under the boot.
Never seen an aftermarket shifter for one, put I'm sure something could be fabricated. I heated up, rebent the stick at the bottom and repainted it. Just relocated it to where it felt a little more comfortable. Maybe try raising the boot and move the stick around to see what's going on.
