Non CST Blazer Trim - Help

My Blazer is a non-CST - no exterior trim at all. I'm thinking about putting trim on it, now that I'm in the middle of my restoration. Can somebody confirm what non-CST trim looks like on a '72 Blazer. Even better, does anybody have any pictures of a correct, factory non-CST Blazer with trim. I am assuming here that you could get a trim option on a non-CST????

I'm assuming the trim on a non-CST would have been the black and not the wood grain. Lower trim only on the sides. What about the tailgate though? Did they have the chrome trim around the tail lights, top chrome strip, bottom chrome strip and a painted CHEVROLET lettering in the middle?

Thanks guys/gals.

Bouncy, it looks like your orange '72 has what I'm looking for. I had saved some pics of your truck, but none of them show the tailgate closed. Do you have a pic of your '72 with the gate closed so I can see the trim setup on it?

Huskerboy2, here is a tailgate shot with the spare open. I said that I would start a new thread in my PM, but that was before I saw this thread you started.

My understanding is that the only tailgate band was the wood grain CST. I don't think I've ever seen a black tailgate band, but I could be wrong. Even the one LUV posted looks like it is woodgrain.

Thanks guys. Sorry for the confusion Chris. I posted here first, then decided to just send you a p.m. That's what I thought it looked like. A chrome strip across the top, well, it looks like two, one on each side of the handle. One across the bottom with tail light bezels and painted letters. I really appreciate it.
