Do a google search for "tachometer repair" you'll pull up quite a few- no experience with any of them, just phone calls- some sounded like they coould fix a tach, some sounded like they did't have a clue.
Good luck |

So far I've sent inqueries to at least 6 "tach repair' places from Hemmings, and from doing searches on the net. AND, so far not one replay. I know I can buy new tachs from "the truck shop" for like $99. but after paying like $125-150 for tach dash assemblies at swap meets, laying out another $100 for a good tach kind of kills the thrill of the find!! I can't believe that they can't be fixed for $10. worth of electronic components and about 15 minutes of labor!!

I've taken a few apart and mostly cleaning them up works to get them active again.
I've only had 1 in probably 10 that I couldn't get work and it was under water for 3 months.

Huck, You might check this one. I had a 70 El Camino tach done there with good results. I believe I found them in hemmings. My tag is dated 8/1/95
Bobs Speedometer 30411 Grand River Farmington MI 48336 800 592 9673 I dont take hemmings anymore so I dont know if they are still around. Good Luck John
