Well, they have those flame thrower devices on some vehicles in South Africa...but seriously, if you are worried you could buy one of those quick release steering wheel hubs so there would be no wheel for the thief to use. A hidden kill switch is another good idea, but unfortunately these trucks do not appear too hard to get into for a determined crook, so best bet is to try not to leave it unattended in areas you might feel "uneasy" in.

Id go with keyless entry kill switch and a hood lock so they cant open hood or doors and if they open the doors they cant start her up!

Hidden kill switch, alarm, Steering wheel lock (I think you guys call them a club) as it's a visual deterent, a large dog and a big length of chain, a padlock and a handy tree

24 hour armed guard. No way to stop a skilled thief, keep plenty of insurance.

I think the best bet is to go with a comination of the above plus anything else you can think of. The more safe guards you have the better. The trick is to make it so hard to steal, they give up! (or get caught in the act!)
Oh yeh, and don't tell anyone what you've done. Word travels...

I always back up my truck as close as I can to a post or fence so they can't put the tailgate down to steal it.

I keep mine in pieces, spread out over about a 1000 sq ft area, so someone who wants to steal it better have plenty of time to reassemble...

Pet rattlesnakes. There's a business in Wichita that kept getting broke into at night, so the owner got some rattlers. He keeps them caged in the day, lets them free at night. And has warning signs everywhere. Says the break-ins stopped completely.
