Detroit Locker
I know it hard to find parts for a ho52 so i was wondering if i could use a detroit locker from a 14bolt ff in my ho52 carrier.Has anyone done this before? If so how was it done?If not what would u think it would take to make this work?Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

I actually have the parts to make this conversion.
If I'm not mistaken you need the axle shafts and an open carrier from a 14 bolt axle than you just slip the detroit into the carrier and bolt on your ring gear and reset your measurements.... |

Go over to www.pirate4x4.com and you will find a number of posts on this subject - it will work and you do need to use the 14 bolt's shafts - but that is all I can remember about it.
