I hope this person comes through for you.
I wanted to let you know that I am one more person that used your gas filler/side marker setup. Thanks for the work you did posting the article and sharing it with the rest of us. You would not believe all the "hotdamns" I get from it!

I feel your pain. Times 66. I am out 1325.00 on a refund from a ebay auction on a 70 chevy lwb. After paying the guy the money and arranging to pick it up it was a total piece. Nothing like the photos and description showed or stated. He said he would refund my money and I am still waiting. He's promised it to me in one more week. If not by then I will see him in small claims court. Fortunately I can say that he is not a real 67-72 chevy guy and doesn't belong to this outstanding forum.

Marker fill set up

Where can i find the article on that ! On the subject of bieng burned i bought a short bed 4x4 from MI and this slime of the earth told me the frame was untouched and original i drove two days straight in a fn snow storm witha two wheel drive and a tow dollie . Just to find a hack up mid seventies frame with a rotted 72 body sitting on it . If i wasnt afraid of going to jail out of state i would have beat my own dicount out of him . Not to mention he tried to play im a stupid kid routine , meanwhile i talked for twenty minutes with him about how great the truk he was building (must have been made of legos ) POS man im still pissed and it was last year .

Good luck Tennman. A board member stiffed me for a total of $200.00 and refuses to answer or contact me. I paid with MO as he requested and never got the four stock eight lug wheels.

Fortunately, he is the only one of about two dozen I have dealt with here that did that. All others have been above board. One junk yard type even sent me a free hubcap he found in a junkyard and I only had to pay the shipping.

Keep positive, the bums are a minority.

You know, I really wish people would tell me when they get ripped off. If no one tells me or anyone the same person can keep doing it to other members... If I am informed I can usually act as a mediator and solve the issue and make both parties semi happy.....

Josh,
Any help with my situation? He sold the truck to someone else and I have nada for my deposit. I really want to resolve this, but I am feeling a wee bit burnt. He's not responding to email, phone or PM.

Thanks,
John

when someone gets ripped off and can prove the transaction, all personel info. should be released on the person who ripped you off. maybe a fellow board member in thier area can give them a call are pay them a visit.

It's not really Josh's place to have to do the mediation but, being the stand up good guy we all know he is he does.I just want to say Josh I admire you but I sure can't figure out how you keep up with all of it .

Got my package today , guess they just needed a little push !?! *L* No hard feelings , just next time when you get your money , try an ship the item(s) asap , for i know the other person (on the parts receiving end) would like to have his or her parts yesterday ! This is just common pratice on any kind of "i have something you need and you got something i want " deal .
