Cruise control recommendations
Just wondering what is the best cruise control to add to my '68 (T400 trans, if it matters). Thanks!
Dan

The only aftermarket CC units (Equus 9000 series) I've ever used are not in production any more, but if you're using an automatic trans without a lockup converter, use one that uses a magnet on the driveshaft for the speed sensor. Otherwise it will hunt up and down due to converter slippage. My magnet retainers let go after a year or two, but I used a 1/4"-diameter "rare earth" magnet from Radio Shack & it stays on all by itself.
