how do you hook up oil pressure guage?
i have a 69 c10 with factory guages it had a metal oil line that hooked up to the old 6cly. now i have a new 350 v8 and the oil line looks like it needs some sort of an adapter to fit it to the block.i bought a sun oil line kit witch came with some assorted fittings and a plastic line but none of the fittings work.(they work at the block if i use the plastic line but not at the guage)does anyone have or know exactly what i need ?thanks

go to your parts house and look in the accesory section that has all the guages and mr. gasket type chromy stuff. you'll see some oil line acc. stuff there. you need to get the copper 1/8th"line to do our trucks. the line will come w/all the fittings and stuff to do both ends of the line.at the engine block,(back rear edge of the intake manifold on the drivers side)and the back of the guage.put some loops on both ends to allow for any needed flex.stay away from the plastic line as invariably the rubbing at the firewall will put a hole in your line in time.good luck!

also, forgot to tell you, your parts house can match up the thread and dia.of your fitting if what you need does not come supplied in the oil line kit.
