LOW OIL pressure where to mount the sender?
I fixed the backfire and while breakling in the cam I noticed Oil pressure is only at 20 psi at 2000 rpm I changed the gauge and still got the same thing. The sender is located at the front of the motor on the drivers side down by the oil pan. All the gauges and senders I have installed usually mount up by the oil filter. Where should I mount the sender to get the correct pressure. Also could the factory oil cooler cause low oil press??jsut a thought. By the way the motor is a 454 . thanks, Andy

were it is mounted you are getting the oil presure once it has gone threw everything, pull the plug out above the oil filter, and install it in the normal spot.
