Need copy of diagram of steering column
I need to replace the steering column part which the shifter arm attaches to for a 72 three-on-the-tree. Can someone email or fax me a copy of an assembly manual which shows the breakdown of the column? Also if anyone can describe what is involved to replace one, I would appreciate it.
Any info or help is much appreciated. Thanks. |

The Haynes manual for our trucks has an exploded view of the steering column.

Re: Need copy of diagram of steering column
My Haynes manual doesn't. It sucks. I repaired my steering column in a 87 Suburban and I'm left with a little black flat spring. Now my ignition switch doesn't spring back to run from the start position. For the life of me, I can not figure out where in the hell this spring goes.
