FS: 1998 60/40 Silverado Seats with folding Console -- DFW

$400 come get them!!!

I bought these seats a few months ago for my truck. At the time I had seen these exact seats go for up to $800 on ebay. I offered a new buyer in the area $450 picked up cash and he ended the auction. There is nothing wrong with them and the have about 2000 miles of drive time on them.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33701

Why am I selling these? Read on.

At the time I had planned on running an automatic untill I got a 6 speed manual cheap. I've tried to make these seats work but it just really isn't gonna cut it because of where the shifter comes out of the floor. If you look in the pics you can see the huge piece of mild steel I had to use to extend it away from the seats.
With a factory manual problem it wouldn't be a problem.

Consider partial trades for a posi, SWB stepside bed sides, coil overs. Adjustable pan hard bar?

Those are great looking seats to bad about the shifter. I have a 57 that I had the same problem with and I bought a Hurst shifter handle that had an extreme curve in it. (Kinda looks like a boom-a-rang) LOL I think this would work for you also. you could weld a clamp bracket to the stub on your stock shifter and bolt this one on. The handle wraps the seat and has the clearance needed to clear. I believe the handles are still available from Hurst. I will see if I can get a link and post it.

Those are not from a 2001, if they were then the seat belts would be attached/coming thru the seat.
They are nice though.

yeah, i believe those seats are out of an 88-98 chevy, gmc. 99-05 seats have the built in shoulder harness seat belt right in the seat, very helpful for us pre-66 guys.

Yes because the shifter base is located much farther forward.

If you still have the seat when I get back in town I would like to take a look at it? I'm in Jacksonville, Fl until November 6th. Did the seat bolt right up or did you have to moddify anything?

Thannks,
Steven

Hopefully I won't have it but holler at me anyway. As far as bolting in. It physically fits fine without modification but you would need to make brakets to make it a bolt in. I just drilled some holes instead...

That is the same seat I have in the Harley truck that I'm finishing up. I took 2" out of the seat brackets so the seat would be lower in the truck and with the matching seat belts it looks sweet. I've had this seat for around 7 or 8 yrs I paid 350.00 for it from a guy in Ohio at the Auto Fair in Charlotte!
