67-72 "stock" under hood pics.
Does anyone have a stock underhood picture of a 67-72 small block with A/C. I would like to know what our trucks looked like from the factory. Big block pics are ok too. I would like to have "showroom original / unmolested" truck photos. Thanks,..lolife99.

I've got a couple of more angles of the same two if you want me to post them also.

It looks like you got enough, but I've gotta show off pics when I can. Here is the engine compartment of my '72 K5.

The two trucks posted Cheyguy are close but they are not correct - 1st truck looks like a Jerry Brown Restoration from Crossville tenn. The Underhood is too glossy, the big blocks never came with chrome valve covers and the wiper bottle is missing as well. The second truck is a small block truck with a BB fan shroud. The underhood area should be a semi to flat black not gloss and the intakes were cor matched to the rest of the engine. I know this seems picky but you ask for stock original, silver tongue and nstrucks as well as bouncytrucks are what you are looking for. Don't get me wrong, both of the others are very nice trucks, but they are simply not correct and unfortunatly most people including show judges don't know the difference.

Hi, I am curious about the valve covers on Cheyguys second picture, the small block. Did the 71 or 72 350s have the valve covers with the little brackets on them like the one in his picture do or should they be smooth? I am considering using a set of these myself but not sure if they belong or not.
Great looking resto jobs cheyguy, beautiful job!

Things that aren't stock on mine - The upper radiator hose- it should have the metal portion with the two rubber hose ends, the trailer brakes wiring on the fire wall to the right of the brake booster, the spark plug wire routing and the red hose that is connected to the block heater. The rest should be bone stock, right down to the firewall markings.

bryan68custom, the cars had chrome the trucks were painted in all cases. Generally it was the HIPO cars/el caminos that came with the chrome covers. I think it was actually part of the performance package???? We all know chrome makes cars faster
