Holy Crap!!! Anybody see the new Mustangs?
Don't want to ruffle any feathers but trust me I am not a ford fan by any means. The only ford model that I remotely like is the 69 and 70 Mach I. I have always coveted that car. When I saw the 2005 Stangs I about did a flip.
Yes, Ford is getting into the throwback market now, the new stang is a retro to the 69 Mach I. I think it looks pretty sweet especially after the 30+ year drought this model has gone through. To anyone who has seen pics of this thing, what do ya think?

The new Stang is a very nice car. The 69-70 Mach 1 (I have had 4) is also a very nice car. GM should do something similar with the Camaro nameplate, if it is ever ressurected. I can ssure you Ford will sell a whole pile of new Stangs..my wife wants one!

Not that I don't like it - but, it remind me of a 77 Celica fastback.

that is just about the only ford I would consider owning. I've said that ever since they came out with the prototypes.

LOL! Ford threatened to sue Toyota for "copying" the Mustang in the 70's. I didn't know a car's appearance was copyrighted, especially considering how similar the Civic and Toyota Corolla look nowadays, but Toyota changed the style right after the threat from Ford.

They are selling like crazy around here too. My bro-in-law said that there is a waiting list for them. I think that the one thing that they could have done without on the new models is the little back seat windows. It would look more retro considering that the 69-70 mach I didn't have it. Maybe add the rear window louvers, which they probably have as an option.

My neighbor's ex husband drove a silver one up my street yesterday showing off. It sounded and looked good. I heard on the news it was designed by an Asian immigrant. :p . I agree GM should revamp a few retro models.

I think they "look" awesome. I wonder if they are any bigger than last years car inside? My buddy bought a Mach 1 and it runs like mad. After I rode in it, all I could think of was this thing is really fast, and really small inside. I guess I have driven trucks for too many years to feel comfortable inside a sports car interior....

See them everyday out in front of the local dealer. Being a previous owner of a 1968 Stang, I must admit to liking these too, especially the darker colored ones that conceal the front end a bit more. NICE.

Man, I wish I had both the suit and the car! By the time I was done with it the back end would be so black from tire rubber it'd be the same color as the suit lol

I have mixed feelings. I don't really like newer Mustangs. Which by i mean '94 up. The only ones i really like are the '67-'70 models. They look OK though.
