67 or 68 dash bezel f/s (no choke style) - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Up for grabs is a dash bezel that is from a 68 or 67. It has no cracks or chips missing from it - none what so ever. I'd say it's in excellent shape. It will need to be cleaned and painted.
The bezel is the kind that had electric chokes in the trucks. The choke hole is drilled from the factory and does not have the part that says "choke". It seems to have the resemblence of where the Choke delete piece was on it at one point in time.

I'm going to put a sticker of 25.00 shipped. reply here please.

it is in "fair" condition, no cracks, but yes, the chrome is worn and the under black is showing through on the normal places.

I've never seen these kind as a repo and i did some more research (correct me if i'm worng) in the 67 - 68 bezels they were marked, choke and if you ordered the truck w/out a choke or an electric, or heat type it came w/ a big GM symbol on there instead.

hey! some of you 67 -72 gurus - give me some info about the type of bezel we're lookin at here and some pics to back me up! Please.

Its the same as the one in my 1968 custom cab Suburban with auto choke. The outline of the GM plate also seems similar to the area around the hole. Mine does not say choke either under the plate.Looks to be listed correctly to me.

Some were like yours and have a little plate that said choke on it, I got one around here somewhere.
