How hard will installing shackles and hangers be?

Please tell me i can do it without taking the bed off

sure you can do it without taking the bed off, you want to remove the hangers? If so you have to drill or cut the rivots out and replace them using grade 8 bolts and nuts. Removing the shackles is a peice of cake, just un-bolt your spring (with the off the ground of course) and then un-bolt the shackle from the frame.

I have not done it, but everyone says that one of the bed supports will have to be notched on each side to clear the shackles. Make sure you allow time for that.

Notching the bed is a piece of cake. Dont worry, it takes like 10 mins each side.

yeah i was looking at it and trying to decide how a longer shackle will fit guess i will try out my angle grinder or cut-off tool on it

if you plan on removing the hangers with a torch, remove the gas tank... dont ask... :X

I didn't realize you were lowering the truck, but the same still applies.

I don't know how to lower anything, but I can jack it up, but if you do a shackle flip on a 4x4 the bed is no longer an issue hehe.
