Can We Do This ?

I was wondering if we could get most of the guys who are starting a parts thread to voluntarily put the initials of their state at the end of their "thread title " , this way you could spot the parts closest to your area right away without opening each post . Any comments ?

I am very new here and have been looking at the upper right hand corner which indicates what state most folks are in, is this inaccurate ( know one just said "south") and in that case the state intials would help on the posting.

I'm pretty sure he means in the title of the thread so it shows on the index before you actually get into the post. I know when I had dial-up, it would get a bit annoying after waiting for things to load, to find that the part/truck/whatever is on the other side of the country. I already do that when I post a f/s item (which isn't very often!). Good idea IMO.

It's a great idea!! I've been doing it, and noticing more and more others also posting state. Makes easier to look thru, and this board move fast (lots of post). That's just my $.02 though. Thank's Jason.

The traffic on this webpage isn't too high to keep up on the new posts IMO. I guess it depends on how often you visit.

Along side each username is their location ( If you populate that in your profile)

I also read them all the way though, most guys will ship items anyway

I was talking about the thread starter in the index even before you open a thread . It would make it easier to find stuff in your area without opening all the threads .
