tire centerpiece removal question

Any ideas how to get this centerpiece off?

Try a thin flat pry tool between the cap and wheel. A small bent flat screwdriver might be easiest.

Thanks, man. I'll see what I can find. A flat-head screwdriver didn't do the trick, and I didn't want to damage anything if there was something more to it.
