Anyone know what a complete ft. crossmember weighs?

Anyone know what a complete one weighs? Crossmember with a-arms, spindles, and steering linkages?

Thanks!

Wow! I bet he never thought of that... :p

You might check with (Chris) Capt. Kaos. I know he has shipped crossmembers, so he might know what a complete IFS weighs...

At least 200lbs. Crossmember is about 50lbs and the control arms out weigh at least 80lbs with the rotors.

The front cross member in my 67 with upper & Lower Control arms, drums, all tie rod ends weighed 254lbs, this doesnt include shocks, stearing box, idler arm & sway bar. I weighed out everything when I replaced my frontend when I put an after market IFS setup in. I came pretty close to knocking over 200+lbs out of the front end when all was said and done.
