Longhorn at work
Just got back from Home Depot.........hauled 1500 Lbs...of floor tile.....I love my Longhorn...........Truck has been great during the last 6 months of my house remodel..
 Ok.now I have to go unload it ..........all by my self...  OUCHH!!!!!!!!

There is a local farmer who tried to unload a round bale of hay like that the day after my dad installed his new reese hitch, Hit a big rock concealed in the grass in reverse at about 40 miles on hour. Bent the frame up real good, still drives the truck, looks funny though and kinda wanders a bit. If it wasn't for the hitch it probably wouldn't have caused so much damage.

I tried that once, the furnace in the back didn't want to come out, instead it just fell over and shattered the back window.
At least it was a ford...and a shop truck at that! The name of this thread made me think some one had been spying on me at the shop.

I did that with a TV I was tossing in the burn pile,and it came out of the back OK.When I got back to the house,I walked around the back of the truck,and there the thing was,hanging by the cord wedged in the tailgate straps,I drug the thing through the field and all the way back to the house,and never noticed

Hey, that looks like my Longhorn.... sort of.... I once hauled a car that I had run in a demo derby to the scrap recyclers. It had no wheels on it and was full of scrap metal sitting on my buddies 16 ft. car hauler. I was towing it with a 88 3/4 ton longbed extended 4X4 Chevy. THe guy with the fork lift couldn't get his forks under it while on the trailer. I pulled forward about 300 feet, and backed up at who knows what speed, (a challenge at any speed with a trailer
 ) nailed the brakes and launched the car right off the trailer. The guy couldn't stop laughing.....
