Need picture of Z bar

Does anyone have a pic of the Z bar that works the clutch? I need to know if it’s supposed to set at an angle or is it straight across from frame to engine?

Thanks
Steve

I took it all from a 69 and put it in a 71. My bar sets lower on the engine than on the frame so it is not straight across. Any Ideas? I'll try and get some pics tonight. Anybody have a pic of the frame where the Z bar mounts

Its working fine but has broken the weld (was sweged) on the ball in the bracket thats bolted to the block. This is the same way it came off the 69??? Its about 1/2 inch lower on the engine side

I just went out and had a look, mine is angled a little toward the engine as well.If it's not hitting the frame, and not in a bind it should be alright.

the z bar was welded to the ball??? the ball should slide into the z bar and bolt to the frame on the other side. 1/2 is fine as far as being off. my elky was the same way.

Here's a pic from a stock 6cyl/3spd.

BTW, I do know that the frame bracket needs to be moved rearward 1.5" when going from I6 to SBV8 (factory V8 position) to get the z-bar running straight.
