Dually hub adapters or not?
Howdy,
Does anyone have any opinions about the dually hub adapters by Arrowcraft? I am half way thru converting my '67 C20 to a dually setup. I was able to bolt up the rims to my eaton axle with minimal modifications, now I'd like to complete the look up front. The adapters for the front are around $250 for the pair. Are there other options available? And would there be issues of bearing stress or safety using these adapters? Thanks! |

Dodge truck ues a bolt on spacer on the front(94-? 99maybe) Possibly a salvage yard item. I do not know if they will work, but when I convert thats what I'll try first. Well if I get around to converting.

I'm parting a 72 C30 dually, don't know how to get it to you but for $150 you can have the front end.

So what I am hearing is that C30 parts will fit on my front end?
Wow, that's a little more outside the box than what I'm used to... What parts are interchangeable? Forgive me for being a "lite weight" but you're going to have to spoon feed me a little on this one... |

I'll take a pic of it tomorrow. But the front ends of all the 2wds should be interchangeable to some degree. The 72 C30 had a 350.

Wow, that's a lot of good info. So if all the parts on the front of my C20 are in good condition, is it just the drums from a C30 that I need? Thanks.

Should be just the drums to get you going....according to what I've been told
Lots of diesel guys use Arrowcraft adapters to turn 3/4 tons into duallies.

...and somewhat on the subject. Here is pic of a 3/4T Dana 60 converted to dually. Looks like it just involved spacers, big studs & nuts. Just a note, it is for sale: 3:54 with all new brakes, seals etc...$400.
