Tailgate latch relocate?
Has anyone relocated their tailgate latch to the inside? If so how hard is it? Can the stock latch just be moved to the inside or a new one made?

Ive seen the kits but they are around $90 which seems like alot to pay for a handle imo but if i cant find one cheaper then i will bite the bullet and shell out the $ because i think this mod is very cool.

I have one. I bought it from Sir Micheal's I believe. I have already welded up my tailgate with a new skin. I will install the handle relocator this weekend so I will let you know when I finish and try to take some pictures.

Someone posted on the other forum that aim sells them for $37. Ive never heard anything good about aim but i would think its pretty hard to screw up something like this.

Thanks alot for the info. Where is the best host for pictures that doesn't cost anything? I'd like to share some pictures of mine and the modifications I've made and still making.

The one on my truck came from Brothers but the reciept showed it cost the last owner about $100 bucks but that was probably at least 4 years ago. He moved the trim panel up ver the outer opening so it has a unique look.
