Post Best lowered shock?

I've got 2.5" spindles (shouldn't effect shock length), 1.5" crossmember notch, and 2" drop coils with a big block. I've heard the KYB's are harsh and "low end" but not junk. I can't seem to find Koni, Bilstein, etc. other than stock. Thanks for any help.

Im right at 3" on a coil,& have been thinking about building a shock mount,so i can run stock lenght shocks. Some of the guys have said the ride better that way. Do you have the crossmember back under the truck? Pics?.....69 longhorn.

Cool

Best lowered shock is the factory ones. I made brackets for them and used up front, haven't had time for the back yet but plan on doing so just as soon as I can. http://www.picturetrail.com/ Look at this site and type in Andy4639 and look at 71 truck pics, and you can see the brackets, they weren't that hard to make out of s/s 1/4".

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
