I can’t help you out with valve covers but I have a 305 V-6 distributor, starter and manual trans flywheel lying around if you are interested.

Naaa, don't need parts...just a valve cover. I had one sand blasted and painted up lookin all perdy hanging up on the wall, but a very good friend (high school buddy) wanted it and I shrugged it off and said I know where there is another as I handed it to him.
Bummer the other one got crushed huh? Earl...If this thread is unfruitfull, I just may do that. Good idea. TTT |

I saw an old V6 in a junkyard yesterday. I could probably get the valve covers for nothing or near nothing. If you haven`t got one by the time I go back there I`ll get them for you.

Good luck on the valve cover hunt. I may have a pair lying around as well. I have to take a look and will let you know.
Regardless, if you come across a set of the plaid painted valve covers, please do your self a favor and DO NOT paint them. These are worth big money to the right collector. The plaid painted valve covers were a promotional item back in the day of the GMC V-6. The Scotish were always known for their “Thriftiness” therefore GM painted V6 valve covers with a plaid scheme for a short run promotion. Long story that I don’t want to burden you all with here. This is what they look like…..
