I wish! I want a truck like Mudders. (the wife doesn't want a 4x4 though) When hers is done, maybe I'll build myself a 4x4 stepside. Here's Mudders.........

I have a 1969 GMC 2500 I recently brought out of montana. It has 31,000 originat miles on it.the body and paint are still all original. It is 4x4 with a 350 4brl and 4 speed manual.the gears are 456.I have to include with the sale of this truck a new dana 60 front axel with 410 gears ,and a turbo 400-np205 set up so it can be coverted to auto.this is a extreamly clean original truck that has never seen road salt, and I purchased this truck from a 90 something year old rancher who had the truck since new.I need $12,000 firm for it.PM me with your interest. The truck that you posted the link to would make a nice project for somebody, a little far for me though. I also noticed that the rear fenders are a little older than the truck.

Tony, have you talked the that guy about that truck? Thats what my bro in law is looking for. I'm not worried about the bed, just the rest being matching #'s. I got a thread about looking for 4x4's on here you might look at it, there are some on there for sale. Thanks for any help you have, Randy

Here's a few more pics. Hard to see imperfections, they are stills from my video camera. Anyhow, the truck is in nice driver quality condition. I've only had it a year and a half. I installed a different front axel so now it has power disks. Front brake components are new and also joints and seals. New steering box. New tires. New exhaust. Previous owner installed a 350/350th all I know from '87 suburban, he put a 2bbl carb on it to replace the tbi. No problems at all with motor or tranny. Bed is in good shape, not original appears to be pieced together from other trucks, some surface rust here and there. Factory air cab nonfuctional. PO put new floor and rockers in, not the best work, I was going to replace. Roof and windsheild area good. Door bottoms need repair. Just replaced front driver fender, old one was damaged, new one from down south but it's blue. Hood has a small ding, grille is good a little surface rust. The back of the frame from the rear shackles back was replaced with channel, I was going to fishplate a stock frame here, the rest of the frame looks good. I'll get more pics of this. I want to sell so I can get some parts for another truck.
