moddyholler, are you right in roanoke? How far off 81? I may be heading down to Charlotte this weekend and wouldn't mind taking a look at it if I had time. Would you possibly be around Sat. evening? if it may be possible would you pm your # where I could call you. what is needed for AC? parts?
Thanks, Bill

God I want a Blazer badly. Hey Kurt, you ever planning on parting with the project Blazer, say for a 67 short step or something.
I see it's not in your sig anymore. Did you get rid of it? Oh yeah, ttt

VT, any details? driveline and rust? I would prefer partial for two wheel drive 6 cyl truck. I run too much for a v-8. If this thing doesn't go soon it is going to be 2 wd with 4.3 v-6 and 700 R4. I would like to see someone do a restration on it. New house will keep me from it for several years. moodyholler

If I drove the swb down, could I just as easily drive the blazer back? What's the gear ratio in it? I have an axel set w/308's in them I could install to help with mileage for you. The truck has a tilt in it also. If your really interested send me your e-mail addy via pm and I'll send you any pic of the truck you'd like to see. |

Hey VT blazer has 3:07 gears with Auburn posi. 31x10.50's. I have gotten as high as 13 MPG. But my commute is doubling with the new house and it is currently my Daily driver. Looking to get away from v-8/auto combo. Not my style anyway. My buddy has aone with a 496/NV4500 5 speed that gets 15.5 with 4:10's. (stroked 454) Kinda embarrassing 350 cid gas sucker! Anyway, thanks for the offer as it is a nice ride. I miss my 1st blazer in 1981 6 cyl 4 speed. 15 around town and 15 on the highway. moodyholler
