3"/5" lowering question
I have my truck lowered 3"/5" inch and now the rear is about an inch lower then the front. Most of you with lowered truck have the rear 2 inches lower then the front[2/4 3/5 4/6} and then it's level. How is this possible?

I have a 3/6 drop on my truck and the rear is 1" higher than the front. I dont understand how your rear could be lower than the front if you only have a 5" drop on it. Are you sure that no other drops were previously done? Do you have pics of how the truck sits? There are pics of my trucks stance on my web site in the sig.

I got a 3/5 and the it is definitely raked...the rear is at least 2 inches higher than the front...Sorry I have no idea how that could be possible...

could be a number of things-new springs in front which haven't settled, heated springs in rear which sag; tell us more info; what size engine, what springs, coil, leaf, new, old, lowering blocks?

I have the 3"/5" coilsprings with Doetch-Tech shocks from CCP. The truck was plane stock before the lowering with all the original parts on it. Can it make any difference if I put the coils upside down?
Here are some before and after pics. Are you sure you measured properly? Where did you measure from on the truck, and was the truck on perfectly level ground when you measured? You truck appears to have almost the identical stance as mine and my rear is about 1" higher than the front, measured from the bottom of the body to the ground (lowest point of the body just in front of the rear wheels and just behind the front wheels).

This could be another shot in the dark, but I noticed your tire size-measure on level ground the difference in height between front and back. Perhaps this is it? Also, there is a correct way to install these springs. If I recall correctly, the small loop goes on top. Hope this helps.

Hey BadAzz for the moment I can't measure my truck because it looks like this
Should be back together in about 3-4 weeks and guess Tony... it will be orange [pearl]. And Brad, all the tires are the same size and I will be checking how I mounted the springs. As said before, the only guess I could give is that the front springs are not properly seated, which usually occurs where the top of the spring sits...Jack it up, and make sure that the spring is straight up while lowering it (don't put your fingers in between the coils while lowering, that really sucks). Good luck, and your right it does look a little too level to be correct...

Maybe you were sent the wrong height springs or the wrong engine springs.... If you have BB springs with only a SB on it it will probably sit too high. BTW you did measure it with the all the body panels on right? Dumb question but you never know. Other than that my only guesses have been covered already. Good Luck. CoryM
