Need Help Identifying Tach....Link To Pic

Can you guys tell me what car this is from?
I bought it at a swap meet several years ago and adapted it to the dash of my '72 C-20. It is starting to take a dump and I am combing the yards for a replacement but I can't find it. It is definately a GM piece because of the GM markings that were on it. I don't have it out presently so I can't give you the number off of it. Thanx for the help! Tach Pic

Thats not a 70-81 Camaro tach but I have never seen that one you have. Maybe it's from a 80's van or something. Kinda looks like an old BMW tach.

I agree not form the 70-81 because I have one in my car. But it does kinda look like the 83 or so style. But I dont have one to look at here.

Maybe....I did know it said "8-cyl" on the back of it which is why I got it for my BB. I'll start looking at the Monza-bodied cars.

I have an '86 Camaro and it doesn't look like that. So does that rule out all 82 to 90-whatever camaro's? It looks similar, but isn't quite the same. I guess the easiest thing to do, I know you don't want to, is pull the dash, get the part number, and get on the horn with GM. You're gonna have to pull the dash sometime anyway....

I've been looking at some "H" body gauges and the tachs go to 7-grand. Mine goes to 8. Now I'm really confused Looks like I might have to pull it earlier than i had planned on

I'll agree, definitely not 2nd gen Camaro tach, it looks nothing like the one in my Z28.
