Customers 1972 GMC Jimmy - Done - lots of pics

I told several people here that once we completed the resto on one of our customers Jimmy I would put up some pics, and I finally got off my @ss and got them posted and here they are w/ a brief description of the truck.

the truck is a 1972 Jimmy and has had done to it or contains the following:

Custom GMC grill w/ blue H4 headlights
everything in the running gear is new
Powdercoated chassis
Lift kit
smoothed top
shaved fire wall w/ aftermarket front and rear A/C units
(the rear A/C is ducted thru the vents on the back of the center console)
crate 383cid stroker w serpentine and TBI
GM crate 700R4 mated to NPT250 transfer
tilt, tach, power brakes, power steering
handmade "jet hotted" exhaust
custom aluminum fuel cell
aftermarket wheels
cowl hood
leather seats (purchased from a board member) - rear not installed
rear swing out tire carrier - spare not installed on truck yet
rhino lined inside and under the tub
and alot of other crap I will add later

and here are the pics - I might be adding some more later

Truck looks great! Is that grille something that you guys are going to sell? I think it looks awesome! I would definately be interested in that setup for my 71.

No - it is something we made just for this job - we started w/ an NOS grill then cut and reworked the metal then sent all the grill pieces out and had them re-plated (so all chrome on all the pieces would match) - alot of work but it should set it apart from the other GMC's at a show.

Looks nice. I like the interior light in the rear panel. Is that the rear a/c unit behind the right wheel well?
