hub caps wanted

I need some CHEAP hub caps...I want the 3/4 ton/one ton style, in chrome. I don't care if they are the 73 & up ones with the yellow bow tie...but I do prefer the blue ones.
I'm not too worried about condition. I'll take beater caps for now...but not total garbage though.
I only need 2, but if i have to buy 4...then I'll have to buy 4.
Pics would be appreciated, and a quote to 43228.

I was looking for some a while back and called Hubcaps.com. They said they had 4 for 45$ each. Might wanna check with them. And that quote was for the blue centers.
Dan.

Hubcaps

Andy,

I had some near NOS 73-up 3/4 ton hubcaps I bought for a project but found 72-down ones instead. I payed $40 for them. If you want them for that plus the ride (probally $5-$10 dollars) they are yours. I can get pics if you like. Let me know. Thanks

I have one with the yellow bowtie, has a few dings, and the p/o of my truck screwed a piece of metal over the bowtie and painted "GMC" on it I removed that but there are 4 holes in the black area around the bowtie.
If you want it, its free for the taking.

Longhornman,

Unfortunately they are not like that. They are the more flat, true "dogdish" style. Those are the good looking ones!!! Let me know. Thanks

Andy, I'll get some pics tonight. I briefly looked at them and threw them back in the box. I'll check them out for condition and get back to you tonight.

hubcaps

Here they are andy. These were the spare set for my 70 sierra grande, but since it is for sale....well. Anyhow, here's the scoop. Upper left one looks mint. Except the center is pushed in at an angle. I paid dearly for it on ebay. I put it on my truck and never noticed til I looked in the rear view mirror and saw it wobble a little bit. You may be able to push it back out, but I was lazy. Upper right has a few minor dings on it. I bought the lower left off of ebay for like $18. It's nice. It needs painted and buffed. Lower right is pretty nice. Notice that the top two have the center that sticks out. The bottom two have the center that dimples in (2wd vs 4wd? or maybe year differences?). I'd need to get $40 shipped for the set. Just let me know. The only other thing I found tonight was a set of 3/4 ton later model hubcaps from a 79 suburban. They are nice. $20 shipped for those (they are chevy though). Brian

They look awsome!

I popped the center out on the two that were pushed in. I've been told that the concave ones were 72, and domed ones were 71 & down, but I can't verify that. Either way, they are all domed now.
Here's the best looking one (which is steel while the others are stainless...interesting) on a freshly painted wheel with brand new trim rings.
Thanks

The only 3 that were on the 1972 GMC I just bought yesterday were domed. They are kinda beat up though, but not cracked. If you still need some I'll take pictures later.
