Frame swap question

I have a '69 GMC 3/4 ton long bed.
What's the chances of swapping frames with a 73-87 long bed?

lots of work.
The wheel base is not the same between the two... also, onless you want to do a body lift, then it won't fit properly.
Why do you want to use a later chassis?

Hey Longhorn,
I haven't quite figured out this posting thing yet.
Thanks, I'm now looking at a 72 Chevy longbed..I get away from the big stack of springs, get disc front and a set of Rally's to boot. It has the A/C components I need, (firewall forward) front clip is fair, other sheet metal is full of cancer. He wants $600 which I think is too high for a rust bucket with no motor or trans.
