Smile WTB 72 4X4 LB light colored (I'm in Vegas)

Basically, I'm interested in finding a needle in a haystack (that's why I need your help) My goal is to purchase in mid to late 2005, a relatively rust free 1972 Chevy 4x4 LB fleet with matching serial numbers and VIN to be able to get further history. Light color is a strong preference (ochre, olive, orange, white, others?) Manual trans would be great, Prefer single color, not two tone on side. In other words cab one color, body another color, ok. Body two colors, not ok. I'm an old school purist too, so no lifted mudboggers, chopped, finagled or conversion projects need apply. If you have a truck like I have described and you want it to go to a good home I can send you my impeccable resume. I do live in Las Vegas, Nevada so it would be nice to find a truck like this somewhere in the western US. Thanks.

Your WTB description states that you are looking for a 1972. Are you interested in any other years between 67-72 .and do you have a budget. JOHN

I guess I would look at other years (70-72) but the truck would have to measure up. I originally intended to spend around $4000 for what I described above, but quickly found that won't buy as much as I thought. So, it'll take me longer to save up more cash to be able to spend around $6K ($7K absolute tops). Another question I have is what would $6K buy? You folks here would probably know. I know what I am looking for may be hard to find, but that is why I am starting now. If I found it tomorrow, I would have to pass. I won't be ready to purchase until September earliest.

BODMAN 6-7 K will more than likely get you a truck that iether someone has repaired rocker and corners on ,or a truck thet is original but will need repair.Do not expect to find a rust free original for that amount. The truck you are dreaming of will be in the 10-14 k range. John

If someone was to talk real fast and catch me with my guard down I might let go of this never rusted Cheyenne Super w/ fact. air and tilt for around $4k. Numbers are correct except engine has been replaced. I have a correct engine for 72 3/4 4x4 to go with. I know you said "no mud boggers or lifts" but the lift could be easily removed. However, this truck runs and drives great as is. I am currently using it as my daily driver. PM for more info if interested. Thanks, Robert
