54 Frame swap Question
I don't know much about the older trucks so here goes. My friend has a 54 SWB he wants to do a frame swap he has a 75 SWB frame. He also wants to put the running boards on the ground ( Lay Frame ) Is this something that can be done or can someone put me on the right track. Thanks Matt.

I finaly did it!. My friend who has the old chevy came up with a frame section. He told me it will fit. Right!. From an 80? something Buick regal. Funny ha ha. I had to do some rethinking half way thru the job but its done. With out front springs, low as it will go it will lay running boards with 205-75r-14. he wants 20s, will see?. Matt
